Daniel Jenkins Academy of Technology will design and develop a wide-range of learning environments that support authentic, hands-on learning enhanced by state of the art technologies. We will create digital fabrication labs and makerspaces where engineering designs come to life in support of integrated STEM projects.

Working Together With Our Community

A positive relationship between the school and community is essential to the continued growth and success of both. Daniel Jenkins Academy of Technology is dedicated to working with our parents and community members. Found inside our new greenhouse

Aquaponics is a system of aquaculture in which the waste produced by farmed fish or other aquatic animals supplies nutrients for plants grown hydroponically, which in turn purify the water. Students will learn all about how their food is grown as we partner with our food service staff to bring fresh farm-to-table food to our students, faculty, and community.


Utilizing technology to enhance education

Our students are working on multiple platforms to enhance their education. The students utilize iPads, tablets, and computers to complete research and connect with others from around the world. These skills will assist our students to develop real-world applicable skills for the 21st century.

Personalized Learning

Using learner profiles to create flexible learning environments

We are creating learner profiles, based on individual student needs, to boost student achievement. We have developed flexible environments for students to work. Utilizing data analysis, students’ strengths are assessed and customized learning paths are developed to best meet each student’s individual needs.
